Yoga Courses
The Life Alignment Yoga, 8 week series for Autumn fitness bringing alignment and balance will begin on Monday 2nd May 2022, From 6.30 pm to 7.45pm in the White Lotus Yoga Studio in Robertson Village NSW Australia.

Theme -
This course will enliven your body, cells and energy pathways so to increase health and vitality while relaxing the nervous system.
Each 8 week Yoga class series/course is unique and you can build upon what you have learnt previously or if new to Yoga this series will also stand alone as a self-healing tool you will learn as a remedy to look after yourself in your daily life. The class is suitable for beginner to advanced at the postures can be coached in varied degrees of fitness.
Classes are held in School Term time throughout the year, including winter which is the best time for Yoga as it originated in the Himalayas. We are lucky to live in this cool climate to support that essence.
Please Note: Classes are not held on Full Moons, New Moons, on The Equinoxes, Solstices or the Head Teachers Birthday. These are days of quiet and introspection. Your own practice is encouraged to do quietly at home if you are inspired to do so. Silent Meditation is suggested on these times,
Location -
All classes are held at White Lotus Yoga Studio in Robertson Village.
The Space is Pristine and is well insulated. Cool in summer and warm in winter.
Fees -
The Adult and Teen class are $220 for the Term if Teen over 16 comes with an Adult $100. If you would like to do two Yoga classes a term.,
If you are new to YOGA and due to injuries or circumstance would like to try a class. A $35 fee is required and must be registered through the web site which will confirm if a space is available at class time chosen.
No casual rate is available as this a course for that term.
Payment -
Is electronic only via EFT or PayPal (Credit/Debit Card), an invoice will be emailed to you on booking. No cash handling due to COVID 19 guidelines. If you are a previous dedicated student and need a payment plan this needs to be prior arranged with Jennifer and a special arrangement agreed.
What to Bring -
You will need for your own comfort a Blanket or Shawl, Cushion, Jacket, Journal and Water Bottle.
Yoga mats will be supplied in class and sanitised after class.
For home practice, I would like you to have your own mat so you can do your Yoga practice at home. This is important anchoring for the Shakti and energy of the to practice at home too. Yoga Mats will are for Sale for $10 or $20.
Student Dharma (your action on arrival and responsibilities during class)
If you are sick, sore throat, cough, runny nose or have been around some who is, please do not come to class. If you are able, I can give call you your phone and you can do the class at home. Just put the phone on loud speaker. Student have participated in courses this way and it works well if you are willing to participate and focus this way. Thank you.
Students are asked when arriving to the studio to prepare for Yoga by (or when doing a home studio class)
"Restraint, moral discipline or vow that is universal"". To be moral is considered difficult by modern human world and this is why Patanjali stressed it's importance in the practice of Yoga. Yoga meaning unity in love, wholeness, connectedness in grace. Yes we can experience that in class. The real benefit of Yoga is how a student in in their daily life. Having the flow of grace in your day to day existence is where the real benefit of Yoga is. This success is up to you and your right effort to assimilate the Yoga state within you.
"Positive duties, recommended habits for healthy living and spiritual existence". Patanjali suggest these qualities, so the grace of your Yoga practice can bring health, well being and balance into your life in both the outer world of practical physical activities and your inner world the spiritual life of inspiration. Therefore wholeness is the result and a life of fulfillment on every level.
It is a time to not underestimate the possibility for the healing of stress to bring peace, joy and physical health and well-being. If you are willing and open, you will experience more balance, invigoration and heartness in classes.
Attending Classes, Retreats or Private Consultation whether in person, on the phone or online is a time for you to Simply BE. It is time off to simply be your Whole, Real and Truthful Self. What does that mean...well just being you in a safe place can be so uplifting, supportive and refreshing. You may agree...we all need a little more of that in Life?
I have been teaching and practicing YOGA all my adult life and know it to be a movement practice and a life philosophy to support, balance and nourish Body, Mind and Soul. - Being Early to settle for class. Studio opens 15 minutes before class for warm up and settling. Bring awareness to breath and your heart centre in the middle of your chest.
- Entering Quietly, Silence preferred. Mobile phones turned of or left at home.
- Removing your Shoes before entering studio.
- Placing shoes and bags in Student cubes
- Being showered and wearing clean clothes
- Signing in each class (COVID requirement)l
- Using Hand Sanitiser at the door (COVID 19 requirement)
- Waiting on your choosen mat 1.5 metres apart then sitting quietly recalling your intention (Sankalpa for course)
- Having respect for self and others in the class. Do not walk onto anyone elses mat. Do not point your feet at anyone or at the altar (Puja)
- Staying for duration of the class.
- Yoga Sutras of Patanjali- Student Dharma to be applied (first to limbs of Yoga Yamas and Niyamas) Be consider the following on the Yamas and Niyamas part of the 8 limbs of Yoga.
